Bull sized rats
There are a good number of rats in New York city and most of them are quite large. They feed on most anything and can be found in most trash cans. People leaving food for the birds just end up feeding the rats. Their swarms are huge and they can pretty much find a way to live in anything. There are a good number that live in a tree, and under a shipping container the parks department uses for storage by my apartment. NYC has actually updated it policy on rodent control. The whole point of this is about scientists finding bull sized rats. I’m not that surprised, I’ve seen them pulling the subway trains.
